The Parish Council and its Project Management Team are still working hard on the project to replace the old pavilion building at Wealstone Lane with a new community centre.

Chester Zoo has amended its initial ‘Natural Vision’ planning application by deleting one hotel and the garden centre, relocation of a services building from adjacent to Badgers Walk to coach parking area and reorientation and reduction in size of hoofstock service building.

The Parish Council is currently responding to the consultation document on Chester Central: A New Business Quarter for a World Class Historic City. This proposal would see a major revamp of area from Chester Station to Boughton over the next 15 to 20 years.

The idea of forming a Youth Parish Council will be discussed at the next meeting. The Parish Council is keen for young people to become involved in their local area.
