The Parish Council is still working towards  renewing the Pavilion building on Wealstone Lane. The vision for the future is to have a sustainable, energy efficient Community Centre that is available and accessible to the whole community. The Centre would offer multi-functional rooms and activities such as children's services, adult learning, activities for older people and health promotional activities. It is hope that local residents and groups will also book the facilities which could be open all year round.

New equipment for older children has now been put in at Wealstone Lane play area.  This consists of four pieces of outdoor gym equipment providing 6 fitness stations.  This equipment will benefit teenagers and adults alike and is already very popular.

CHEMISTRY PITS PLAY AREA The Parish Council has now enhanced the wildlife area with additional trees and shrubs and also bordered the area with woodland flowers. An interpretation sign is on order and will also be installed shortly, so that visitors to the area will know what to look out for.
