UPTON BY CHESTER & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

Meeting of the Planning Committee of the Upton by Chester & District Parish Council held on Monday 3rd September 2007 at The Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester.

 

Present:          Cllr David Capstick, Cllr Jean Evans, Cllr David Evans,

Cllr Gerald Grant, Cllr Peter Griffiths, Cllr Pat Lott

and Cllr Robert Thompson.

 

1.                  APOLOGIES:

Apologies were received from Cllr Gill Houlbrook. And Cllr Gill Jordan,.

 

2.                  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:

No declarations of interest were received.

 

3.                  TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The Clerk reported that she had left the plans for items a. and b. with Cllr

Caroline Mosley who had not attended the meeting.  Members discussed the problems arising from Cllr mosley not having given apologies for the meeting and ensuring that the plans were returned to the Clerk.  Cllr Peter Griffiths proposed that Cllr Mosley should not be given the plans in the future.  Cllr Robert Thompson told Members that he felt that Cllr Mosley should be given the opportunity of  explaining her non-attendance before making any decisions for the future.

Resolved:       that the proposal be discussed at the next meeting.

 

a.         28 Flag Lane North – Two storey extension to side of property

           

No objection

 

b.         27 Oakfield Avenue – Conservatory to rear of property

           

No objection

 

c.         30 Flag Lane North – Two storey extension to side and rear

           

No objection

 

d.         15 Meadowsway – Single storey side extension and two storey side and rear extension

           

No objection

 

e.         2 Daleside – Construction of two storey side and rear extension and demolition of garage

 

            Members had no objection but were concerned about the proposed increase in roof height which they felt inappropriate and unattractive.

 

f.          28 Long Lane – Two storey extension, single storey extension and porch to front, side and rear elevations.

 

            No objection

 

g.         Barberry, 3 demage Lane – Extension over garage and new dormer.

 

            No objection
