UPTON BY CHESTER & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

Meeting of the Planning Committee of the Upton by Chester & District Parish Council held on Monday 30th October 2006 at The Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester.

 

Present:

Cllr Jean Evans, Cllr Gerald Grant, Cllr Jill Houlbrook, and Cllr Patricia Lott.

 

1.                  APOLOGIES:

Apologies were received from Cllr Gill Jordan and Cllr Robert Thompson.

 

2.                  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:

No declarations of interest were received.

 

3.                  TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

           

a.                   Chester Zoo – Redevelopment to visitor entrance area

 

                        No objection

 

b.                  Barberry, 3 Demage Lane – Extension over garage to provide additional bedroom/bathroom.

 

                        No objection

 

c.                   37 Caughall Road – Single storey extension and dormer window to existing loft space.

 

                        No objection

 

d.                  70 Upton Park – Extension to gables of property and demolition of existing garage and sheds.

 

                        No objection as long as it complies with the guildines on percentage of current footprint for the extension.  Also that it complies with the                             conservation area regulations.

 

e.                   The Eight Rights, Cousens Way – Installation of play area

 

                        No objection

 

f.                    The Vicarage, Demage Lane – Fell 1 lime tree.

 

                        No objection, but would like a replacement tree to be planted.

 

g.                   90 Weston Grove – Use of first floor as dwelling with rear access.

h.                   Chester Zoo – Alteration/relocation of dry store canopy to previously approved application.
