UPTON BY CHESTER & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

Meeting of the Planning Committee of the Upton by Chester & District Parish Council held on Monday 15th May 2006 at The Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester.

 

Present:         

Cllr David Evans, Cllr Jean Evans, Cllr Jill Houlbrook, Cllr Patricia Lott,

Cllr Caroline Mosley and Cllr Robert Thompson

 

1.                  APOLOGIES:

Apologies were received from Cllr David Capstick.

 

2.                  ELECT CHAIRMAN:

 

It was proposed by Cllr Pat Lott and seconded by Cllr Jill Houlbrook that Cllr Caroline Mosley be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

 

Resolved:       that Cllr Caroline Mosley be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

 

3.                  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:

No declarations of interest were received.

 

4.                  TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

           

 

a.                   Littlefold, 5 Upton Lane – 1st floor loft bedroom extension and ensuite bathroom and storeroom.

 

                        No objection

 

b.                  Upton Grange, Long Lane – Overhead electric line

 

                        No objection, but were concerned that no explanation of why the overhead line was needed had been given.

 

c.                   26 Church Lane – 2 metre fence along boundary of side garden and Nield Court.

 

                        Object on the grounds that it is not in-keeping with the environment.

 

d.                  19 Tintern Avenue – Kitchen, lounge/sun room and bedroom extension.

 

                        No objection

 

e.                   134 Liverpool Road – Rear single storey extension.

 

                        No objection

 

            f.          10 Marlow Avenue – Conservatory

 

                        No objection

 

            g.         30 Flag Lane North  2 storey extension to side and rear.

 

                        No objection

 

            h.         29 Caughall Road – Conservatory

 

                        No objection but Members made observation that the brick wall to the adjoining boundary was not sympathetic to the neighbours.
