UPTON BY CHESTER & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

Meeting of the Planning Committee of the Upton by Chester & District Parish Council held on Monday 11th January 2010 at the Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester.

Present:          Cllr David Evans (Chairman), Cllr Paul Lowry, and Cllr Mil Williams.  Cllr John Butler was also in attendance.

Resolved:       Apologies were received from and Cllr Gerald Grant, Cllr Pat Lott,  Cllr Jean Evans, Cllr David Savage, Cllr Gill Jordan, Cllr Robert Thompson

2.         DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:

No declarations were received.

3.         TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

            a.         9 Gatesheath Drive – proposed attached dwelling and conversion of      existing garage to habitable accommodation.

 

            Members object on the following grounds:

            a.         over intensive development of plot

            b.         create precedent of terraced housing in area

 

b.         42 Appleton Road – Porch to front and tiles roof to dormer

            No objection

 

c.         100 Weston Grove – Amendment to previous planning permission for single dwelling.

            No objection

 

d.         Chester Zoo – Signboards.

            No objection, subject to Highways agreement.

 

e.         32 Appleton Road – Two storey side extension, single storey rear extension and porch to front.

            No objection

 

f.          26 Caughall Road – First Floor side extension.

            No objection

 

g.         58 Daleside – Single storey rear and side extension.

            No objection, subject to adequate off road parking facilities.
