As the Chairman was not present at the start of
the meeting, Cllr Jean Evans chaired the meeting until item (d).

TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

No objection

Linden Lea,
No objection, but Members were concerned about the
visual appearance of the remaining garage on the adjoining property.

The Wheatsheaf Inn – Extend and re-roof flat roof
addition, external alterations to include new kitchen ventilation equipment and
new fire escape from first floor and new dwarf columns to entrance to site and
external cold room.
Members object on the grounds of loss of parking
spaces and less manoeuvring space on site.

No objection

78 Weston Grove – Change of use on both floors
together with ground floor extension.
Ground floor from A1 to A5 – Food and Drink. First Floor from A1 to Residential.
Members have no objection and are happy to see the
shop used, but would like a condition imposed that restricts opening hours to
those requested on the Planning Application as there are already a number of
shops in this parade that are open until late at night.

Public Open Space at The Acorns,
No objection but would like replacement trees to be
a requirement.

21 Cross Green – Rear extension.
No objection

The Wheatsheaf Inn, 46 heath Road – Extend and
re-roof existing flat roof addition, external alterations including kitchen
ventilation equipment and new fire escape from first floor, new dwarf columns
to entrance to the site and new patio and ramp to entrance.
Members object on the grounds of loss of parking and
manoeurvring space on site and also to the front patio due to its close
proximity to the road frontage, which would be out of character in the
predominently residental nature of the surrounding area, and also close to the
vehicles on site.
