TO CONSIDER PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

Moston Service Station – Change of use of land to
rear of parking area.
No objection if the proposed area is not in
greenbelt or washed over greenbelt.
Members do have some concerns about the future use of the parking spaces
and would have liked more details on the type of vehicles i.e. hire vans. Will there be security lighting to the area?

Members had concerns that the proposed extension
would be beyond the building line of

Members objects on the following grounds:
i. There will be visility problems for traffic exiting from
ii. Overintensive use of masts as there are already unsightly
masts and associated equipment in the area.
iii. The company, because of bad planning and foresight in the
initial stages, have failed to provide adequate coverage in the first phase
which is now being identified. They are now returning with a fix to provide the
coverage for the area. This area of
iv. Members were concerned that the LPA in indicating that they would
not support the site in Kingsway due to a lot of local opposition have given
the impression that they would support the site in

Members object as it is unsuitable in a residential
area and is also an unnecessary use of electricity.
