FORUM:
A
local resident informed Members that the designated pathway for dog walkers
around the field was unsuitable by the teen shelter due to the amount of broken
glass. The local resident said that she appreciated that there was no way of
keeping the area free of glass 24 hours a day and asked if the pathway could be
re-routed to avoid problems. The Chairman suggested that the matter be reviewed
by the Playing Fields Committee.
AGREED: that the matter be put on
the agenda of the Playing Fields Committee.

COUNCIL MEETING
Buses

Clerk reported on an email from the Highways Department.
Agreed: that the Clerk would ask Highways for an update on the
situation.
Rails
at Chemistry Pits Play Area
The
Clerk reported that she had arranged for the contractor to complete the work.
Verges
on
The
Clerk reported that the total cost of this work was in the region of £26,000
and that Cheshire County Council would be looking for funding of at least
£16,000 for this to go ahead this year but that both the Area Committee and the
Parish Council would not be able to find this amount.
Mast
at Duttons Corner
The
Chairman reported that she had spoken to Bryan Hughes of Chester City Council
who had indicated that it might be difficult to get all the mobile telephone
companies together for a meeting, but that he would try to arrange a meeting.
Lease
of Greenfields
The
Clerk reported that she had received a reply from Chester & District
Housing Trust indicating that they were willing to meet with the Parish Council
to discuss the future of the area and that they would advise a date in the near
future.
