Extra Special Meeting of the Upton by Chester and District Parish Council held on Thursday 29^th October 2009, at The Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester

Also Present: Dr Martin Carey, Project Manager.

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE:

Resolved: Apologies for absence were received from Cllr John Butler,

Cllr Gill Jordan, Cllr Gerald Grant, Cllr Jill Houlbrook,

Cllr Paul Lowry, Cllr David Savage, Cllr Caroline Mosley,

Cllr Theresa Bartliff, Cllr Liz Squire, Cllr Bryan Smith

and Cllr Miljenko Williams

2. PROGRESS OF COMMUNITY BUILDING PROJECT:

Dr Carey gave Members an update on the progress he had made on the project. A report outlining the justification for development of land was discussed. (a copy of the report is attached with amendments). Dr Carey told Members that the project was not dependant on the Youth Club being involved, but that a meeting should be arranged with its Management Committee to discuss their views on being involved with the project.

Dr Carey told Members that one all parties had agreed the basic idea of the project, a new time line would be drawn up.

Resolved: that the report be noted.
