Extra Special Meeting of the Upton by Chester and District Parish Council held on Wednesday 23rd  July 2009, at The Pavilion, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester

                       

PRESENT:

Cllr Gerald Grant, Cllr Jill Houlbrook, Cllr Paul Lowry, Cllr Chris Reeve,

Cllr David Savage and Cllr Bryan Smith,

and

 

1.         APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE:

Resolved:       Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Gill Jordan,

                        Cllr Caroline Mosley, Cllr Theresa Bartliff, Cllr Pat Lott,

                        Cllr Liz Squire,  Cllr Robert Thompson

                        and Cllr Miljenko Williams

 

 

2.         CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS ARCHITECTS FEES FOR THE COMMUNITY BUILDING PROJECT:    

The Clerk reported to Members on the amount of fees likely to be charged by the Architect and also the advice from the Project Manager with regard to the contribution.  Members discussed what the contribution should be.

 

Resolved:       that the contribution towards the Architects Fees be £6,000 and that if this figure needed to be revisited it be delegated to The Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chair of Finance.

 

3.        UPDATED PROJECT PROPOSAL:

Members considered the updated Project Proposal provided by Dr Carey, Project

Manager.

 

Resolved:       that the updated project proposal be accepted.
